Dear conference participants,
We hope this message finds you well. Following recent regional threats, we would like to reassure you that, after the incident of 1 March, no incidents have occurred on Cyprus ground. All threats were handled approximately 150 km away from the coast, and daily life in Cyprus continues as usual.
We are excited to confirm that the conference will take place as scheduled, with over 800 participants registered, the vast majority of whom are expected to attend. About one third of participants are local participants. All preparations are running smoothly, and we look forward to welcoming you. Attendance, of course, is entirely at the discretion of each participant.
Please note that, according to conference rules, all student participants must be accompanied by responsible adults who assume responsibility for them throughout the event. Safety and accident-related issues within the venue area/hotel are fully covered by the hotel insurance.
We kindly remind everyone to rely only on official and verified sources of information, and to avoid misinformation or rumors circulating online. If any of these risks affect your plans, or if your flight is cancelled, please let us know and inform the hotel agency in a timely manner.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Cyprus and sharing a safe, enjoyable, and memorable conference experience together!
With regards to refund of registration fee, even though it is announced as non-refundable, the organising committee will examine the refund amount for those who cancelled their participation by 7 March 2026.

Dear EUROMATH & EUROSCIENCE and STEAME CONFERENCE participants.
We write in relation to announcements regarding incidents with drones in Cyprus and at the Paphos airport , a drone that has not appear yet. The alert was false and the airport is already open . The authorities are taking precautions and we are following closely instructions by the authorities.
Our conference venue is far away from the British Bases which is considered a target.
As organizers we will wait some days and monitor the situation.
The conference will run as planned , 12-16 March 2026, unless the Cyprus government authorities enforces cancellation or suggests postponement . Otherwise we look forward to meet you in Paphos. We will continue to make updated new announcements!
